Webstraxt are pleased to announce they have been selected by the builders merchant JT Atkinson & Sons to deliver a pioneering new eCommerce site serving the construction and retail DIY sectors.

JT Atkinson are working with Webstraxt to redevelop their existing online service, www.jtatkinson.co.uk, to produce a market-leading eCommerce site using the latest eCommerce, UX and search technologies.

Jonathan Oldhams, Managing director of Webstraxt Limited commented:

“We are very excited to be working with the ecommerce team at JT Atkinson. They came with a very demanding brief that really pushes the boundaries…we can’t wait to launch the new site.

Adrian Gordon, eCommerce Director at JT Atkinson commented:

“This has been a complex two-year project that has really tested ourselves and the team at Webstraxt. We didn’t want a website that simply mirrors the standards set by other builders merchants’ sites. We wanted to deliver a customer experience that reflects the standards set by the very best modern online services. We have paid particular attention to our search and merchandising, allowing our customers to find and buy products with unprecedented ease. We truly believe the new site will offer a market leading experience.”

The new online service will be deployed in Q2 2024.

Following a successful year long partnership with Webstraxt, LBS Builders Merchants Limited has completed the first phase of their digital transformation.

LBS Builders Merchants worked with Webstraxt to build a new eCommerce website to provide full integration to their ERP system with real time product, stock, and pricing information. The new site enabled LBS to provide their new and future customer base with a comprehensive Click and Collect service.

Speaking of the new site launch, Jonathan Oldhams, managing director of Webstraxt Limited, commented:

“It has been a pleasure to work with the team at LBS Builders Merchants to provide the company with a comprehensive eCommerce platform to complete the first phase of their digital transformation project.

The new site will allow them to better service their existing customer base with the introduction of a compressive Click & Collect service.

We are looking forward to continuing to work with the LBS team to drive their digital transformation strategy and watch them grow over the coming year.”

Greg Ace, Online Sales Manager at LBS Builders Merchants, commented:

“Webstraxt have proved to be a pivotal piece of a very large puzzle in LBS’s plans to improve business practices through advancements in our digital and technology infrastructure. Their collaborative approach and expertise in developing Magento platforms, plus their Intact integration, allows us to seamlessly link our online trading offer with our ERP.

This has resulted in an online offer that mirrors our branch processes, offering unrivalled functionality and convenience for our customers. With the successful launch of two ecommerce sites to date and a forthcoming third branded site, their commitment underscores our confidence in their ability to support our future initiatives.”
